                                       Announcements                          

    Junior Greg Day, 130 lbs., placed 8th in the State Finals at the Palace on March
    6th.  He is the second wrestler in the history of Dakota wrestling program to
    place at States.

    The the following wrestlers have been named to the Macomb All-County Wrestling
    Team:

    Greg Day, 130 lbs., 1st Team and Dream Team
    Kenny Seelye, 119 lbs., 2nd Team
    Dom DeRita, 125 lbs., Honorable Mention
    Jeremy Wranosky, 135 lbs., Honorable Mention
    Alex Bloomquist, 160 lbs., Honorable Mention
    Shane McManaman, 215 lbs., Honorable Mention
    Ryan Tilney, 285 lbs., Honorable Mention

    In addition, Greg Day has also earned the All State designation based on his
    finish at MHSAA Individual State Championship.

    They will be honored at the Macomb County Wrestling Coaches Association
    Banquet on March 29th a the Mirage Banquet Hall.

             Dakota Athletic Department Fundraiser

    The Dakota Athletic Department is holding a “Mattress Fundraiser” on May 1,
    2010.  The Athletic Department is seeking to raise money to offset the cost of the
    Muskegon trip for Cheer and Football Athletes.  Plan to buy your mattresses on
    May 1 at Dakota!!!
